After I've stopped blogging for over 2 years, I'm back! Hohoho!

But I'm sure you guys are all gone from this blog, but nvm, it's a place for me to just talk about things that interest me and that just seems kinda random to talk to friends and family.

I'm back to school after a year with NUH and I'm currently in my first sem in my 3rd yr of the program. AND, its exams! (kill me pls! O.O)

While I've been busy with school and exams, I found a new group of singers called BIG BANG from Korea! they are like the best boy band I've seen, their songs, MV and style is really cool. (I sound like a high school girl! -.-) BUT, seriously, their performances are so fun to watch and their sounds are so high!

I noticed them last year when Korea's Music Awards was held here in S'pore and I caught a gleam of T.O.P and GD from BB. Their performance was so cool that I was captivated! And I've kinda become their fan! I can't believe I'm chasing idols at my age.. Like some small kid... hahaha. whateverr... Its enjoyable to listen to their songs and watch their MVs etc...

After 1 week at my work place, i feel i'm learning alot. like EQ skills, PR skills, responsibilities etc..

I quite enjoy working life so far. its very different from studying. its like whatever you learn, you apply right on the spot. gives me more of a sense of satisfaction. =D

Fire Works

Every year, there will be fire works display shortly after the end of NDP. and every year, the thought of even going for those displays never even creep into my mind.

This year however, calvin brought me to watch the display. must say, i'll be going back next year too!

why i've never thought of going for the display was because i thought it'll be like the fireworks during ndp and it would be a tiring thing to do with not much in return.

but i was wrong. the display is really really nice. it looks as if it gets bigger and bigger with every blast of fireworks into the sky. its like looking at beautiful stars that doesn't last yet while it lasts, the wonder and beauty of it is beyond description.

go have a look at it next year, who knows, we might just bump into each other.

September 11 2008.

a most significant day for my family and our relatives in Xiaman.

We're going Xiaman to visit them for 7 days!

i wonder if i should be jumping in joy or be scared shitless.

let's see... i'll be happy for the obvious reasons - being united with relatives again? visit Xiaman?

and i'll be scared shitless for... we might be staying with them. being in contact with them 24/7. a little hard. seeing as how we had such a hard time the last time 2 of them came over. O.O i'm seriously worried and concerned of HOW we are going to survive the 7 days trip. =X

i'm not trying to be mean or anything, its just that our cultures are really different and though we might be able to get along alright for short periods of time, being in contact for looonnnngggg periods of time would be taxing for all of us.

therefore, my goal now is to CHANT ALOT ALOT ALOT of daimoku so that we would ALL enjoy the trip. i have around 1month plus left! help me jia you ba!

haha. i want to get some braces! why? cause it'll make my teeth look better! and of course, i must say, i do have abit of a weird thinking that ppl with braces are cute. heh.

its gonna be a huge investment, thats for sure. i do hope i'll be able to afford it without my parent's help. hah. jess told me that you can pay for the braces by monthly installment. (sounds like i'm buying a laptop or something. hah.)

The day I became rather broke.

It is THE DAY of Princess Shanice's 21st Birthday Party.

Venue - Settler's Cafe, Holland V.

Food - Fries, Onion Rings, Sotong Balls and something crunchy(no idea wat)

Drinks - Green Tea, Rootbeer, Ice Water

Entertainment - Board games, dice games, card games, funny funny games, serious games, childish games, brain juice needed games, violent games, noisy games, quiet games, big games, small games and medium sized games.

Review -

Fun. That's basically what there is to say about that party. Fun! We shouted, we screamed, we chat, we pushed each other, we drink, we eat, we joked, we enjoyed. =D

Though i was sick and my voice sounds like a man, i screamed and shouted along and ate all those fried food and drank cold drinks. And, it was one of the greatest night i had in a long long longgg time!

For now, i'm looking forward to my own 21st birthday party. Counting down, 10 months.

what happened?!?

went back to work for maxwell (the baby products) on last sat. linda (one of the maxwell staff) got sick and was hospitalised. i went and took over her work at Taka till this coming thur.

the first day at taka was horrible. everything is sooo different from isetan. lol. must have gotten too used to the isetan staff le. plus i had ppl there to talk to, unlike taka. sigh. bored!

fortunately, i had frenz working at taka too. though in other departments. but wat the heck, its better then nth. everything went alright? at the beginning. -.- but something happened! again.

on my second day there, when i was almost going to prepare to leave for home, one of the cashier guy started talking to me. and since they work there with me, i thought i'll be polite and small talk a little. when i left, i said bye to the manager (who was at the cashier counter), he (the manager) asked me to come over. then he said that the cashier guy wants my number and he(the manager) is asking for my number on behalf of him(the cashier).

am i still making sense? anyway, my first reaction was... NO! FREAKING NO! but not to be rude, i said why not i give you maxwell's number. but the manager insisted i give my own number. in the end i couldn't think of anything to refuse without sounding pompous. so i gave.

and the rest, i just don't wanna say anymore.

ok. thats the horrible details of my taka job. i'm left with 2 more days. please let it pass without any trouble!

oh ya, mon was nice. went lunch and movie with my friend. the movie was (i don't mean to be X rated) ALL ABOUT SEX. the ticket aunty told us it was a comedy. which i guess it was, just that its not REALLY funny. just sort of average? and its all jokes on virginity and sex etcc.

fun movie to watch when you've ran out of movies to catch.

i've finished my baby toys's promoter job! yeah! its been around two weeks since the end of that job. and glad to say, NO! that guy DID NOT come and find me. thankfully! haha

just now, and yes, i really do mean just now, like a few hours ago, i went to a job agency. to find myself a job of course. hopefully i will get one with higher pay and a place to sit. -.- it seems that the agent would be recommending me a retail job. cause of my monday classes. hiazzz..

its such times i really regret not working hard enough to pass all my modules right at the beginning. i would have graduated now. -.- ok, watever. i'll just endure sch for a few more months and get it over and done with. then it'll be either uni or full-time work. hopefully uni lah. hahaha..

today during work, this customer came and bought a doll from me. then he came back to ask about the battery thingy. then! (i have no idea how it came to this) he asked my age, name and sch. and said "ke yi zhou peng you ma?". and since i'm selling him the doll, i can't say anything! and i said i'll be there at the booth. and he said he will be back to the booth in a few days.

oh f***. i hope he DOES NOT come back. at the very least not this week. i will finish my work by this week! as long as he doesn't come this week, i'm safe! pls pls pls pls plsss DON'T COME! argh! friends of mine that reads this post, COME find me!! pei wo. just in case i'm unlucky enough and he comes within this week. ahhh!!!!

here's my long awaited(?) updates on my life. haha.

first, yesterday, i went and took the two required classes for my basic theory and this sunday i'll be going to take the practice paper for the basic theory. though my actual basic theory test is in May. but then i'm told that practice makes perfect. and i dun wanna fail my paper. now i'm paying more attention to cars. hah.

ok. next, i'm going to thailand in April with my sec sch buddies! yeah!!! i can't wait for it!!! shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all those gd food and cheap shark fin soup! wooohoooooo!! lalalala~ but for that to happen, i'll need to work. which will start ard march 10. promoter for baby products at Taka. if you ppl need anything for babies, come down and find me. hah. i'll recommend you something cheap and nice. lol.

the last thing would be, i'm thinking of getting weights to train my arms. any suggestions to the places to get cheap weights and also what are the weights i should be getting? those who gym, better leave some suggestions on my tag board! i'll be checking them. hahah.

Shun made his way into the acting industry not because he knew he had a great talent for it and not because he was pursuing a passion of his, but because he was an avid admirer of Uchida Yuuki, a Japanese actress. Plot

The story of D.Gray-man takes place on a fictional Earth at the end of the 19th century. The plot mostly centers around Allen Walker, a young British boy who is a member of The Black Order; a secretive organization whose members are known as Exorcists. The Order's primary mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an ancient demonic sorcerer who intends to 'cleanse' the world by destroying all life on it.

Exorcists are specially chosen humans who are gifted with the ability to control and use Innocence, a divine substance created in ages past to combat the Earl. According to the Order's history, at the end of The Great Flood, 109 fragments of Innocence were scattered around the world. Once an Innocence fragment is matched to its compatible user, it can become a weapon or tool for the user to wield in the battle against the Earl.

Throughout the story, Allen is introduced to more Exorcists, including Yu Kanda, Lenalee Lee, Lavi, Miranda Lotto, and Arystar Krory. Assisting Allen and the Exorcists is a team of scientists and handlers led by Komui Lee, a Supervisor of the Black Order and Lenalee's older brother. Allen's master and mentor is the enigmatic Cross Marian, one of the five Exorcist Generals of the Black Order, who at the beginning of the story has mysteriously disappeared. In the course of completing their missions, Allen and his fellow Exorcists are introduced to the other Generals: Kevin Yeegar, Froi Tiedoll, Klaud Nine, and Winters Sokalo.

The Millennium Earl is aided in his plans by The Noah Clan, humans who are direct descendants of Noah himself. Each member of this clan is gifted with great power and each represents a different 'aspect' of Noah. They are identified by their gray skin and line of cross-shaped markings on their foreheads. As the story progresses, the members of the clan are revealed: Road Kamelot (The Dreams of Noah), Tyki Mikk (The Pleasures of Noah), Jasdero and Devit - Jasdevi (The Bonds of Noah), Skinn Bolic (The Wrath of Noah), and Lulu Bell (The Lust of Noah).

The Earl also utilizes an army of demonic creatures called Akuma to do his bidding. Akuma are created by taking advantage of someone's grief over the death of a loved one. The Earl tricks individuals into bringing their loved one back to life through a skeletal 'doll,' only to have that doll kill them and turn them into an Akuma with the soul of the dead loved one trapped inside. Akuma are able to evolve and with each new level grow more intelligent, powerful, and sadistic. Since Akuma can impersonate humans to blend in, Exorcists are routinely assigned to track down and eliminate them. Allen is the only exorcist able to actually see past an Akuma's disguise, this is because of a curse placed on him.

Synopsis

When Homicide Detective Kang Oh Soo hit a dead end in his investigation of two seemly unrelated murders, except for the Tarot cards left behind at both crime scenes, he sought help from Seo Hae In, a woman with psychometry ability. She revealed that the killers were different in each murder, but the victims were chosen for their connection to a death of a high school boy. Later, the cases proved to have one more thing in common: the suspects have the same defense attorney, Oh Seung Ha.
Seung Ha's defense for his clients severely shaken Oh Soo’s conviction to catch the Tarot Card mastermind. Oh Soo was reminded that years ago he had killed a high school classmate in a fight. He was acquitted of all charges and began his life anew. Now, someone has came back to revenge the boy’s wrongful death by killing those who got him off.

in less then 3 weeks time, i'll be 20. as with every birthday, there's definitely something called the Birthday Wish LIST.

and here's mine. Be Prepared to See a LONG LIST. lol.

1. Better at Studies. (Uni plsssssssss!!!)
2. Good Health. (no major illnesses. but do be sick once in awhile. get MC. skip sch. muahahaa!)
3. Happiness. (DUH. who don't wanna be happy?)
4. Become slimmer. (ya lah ya lah. always wish this one. girl ma. haha)
5. Become prettier. (same as above.)

7. More Clothes. (having a liking for dresses nowadays.)

and once again, a year has gone by, its now 2008!

did you have anything you didn't manage to do in 2007? and what are your goals in this new year?

hmmm... so much to think about huh? hah. there's one thing i'm looking forward to. and that's my 20th bdae! omg!!! can you imagine? its the big 2-0~! haha. lalala. presents, presents! very soon it'll be 21! and i'll get my key. some people say that once you hit the big 2-0, time will really really really FLY!

i wonder if that's true. so far, i dun even feel like its a new year. everything is pretty much the same. projects and more projects. busy busy busy. what about you guys? looking forward to anything?

anyway, recently watched Goong. (the FIRST one) yes, yes, i know i'm like freaking SLOW. but wth. it didn't attract me as everyone keeps saying this and that about the show. but after watching Coffee Prince, i wanted to see how different the actress was in Goong. i must say that she's a really good actress! very li hai. and Goong was wonderful! very nice. though i can't stand them dragging the feelings part near the end. -.- too slow. i prefer the jap style of everything being more fast paced. a whole story can finish in 12 episode. and they don't miss out any of the important parts! hahaha. fast fast and straight to the point. makes us look forward to more! that's how dramas should be. don't you agree? heh.

Ghost Hunt

Ghost Hunt follows the adventures of Kazuya Shibuya, the president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Center (SPR) and Mai Taniyama, a first year high school student. The story begins during an exchange of ghost stories between Mai and her friends, who are interrupted twice: first by a mysterious "male student" and then by a fellow classmate, who warns them of how their ghost stories attract spirits.

While out walking, Mai sees the building that all the ghost stories surround and decides to go in. As she is about to touch a camera in the middle of the room, a man stops her and ends up injuring himself. Mai is then forced to work as a stand-in assistant for the man, an employee of the "male student," who was hired to study the "paranormal" events occurring at the school. Mai nicknames this "student" "Naru" for his narcissistic attitude. Naru owns a paranormal investigation company SPR and Mai eventually earns a part-time job at SPR after assisting with the first case. The more involved Mai becomes with Naru, the more she learns about herself and her feelings towards him.

Along with Shibuya's assistant, Lin, the SPR also finds itself assisted by various spirit mediums and exorcists.

The anime has already ended its run. Many fans have asked for a second season, but while there has been no firm confirmation, some fans believe there is a possibility of a return to be around this fall. The manga is still ongoing; hence beliefs that there could be a possibility of a second season. The author has been quoted as saying that she is currently working on a girl's horror story that she began years ago (she stopped writing "Ghost Hunt," the novels, in 1994).

i think i just figured out why is it that EVERYONE seems to be so hang up on facebook.

i mean, i've always felt friendster is better. it looks better, the music, the background and all that stuff looks better. more fun.

but i keep getting those irritating facebook invites. what is wrong with those people??? in the end, the 'wrong' thing about them is their need for privacy and yet still look like they have lots of friends.

in friendster, once you add someone there, they have access to pretty much ALL the things you've placed there. except maybe the private photos. which does still leave alot of thing out in the open for others to see.

however, on facebook, you can add someone and still restrict that person's access to the things you've placed on facebook. isn't that just about the BEST thing that any privacy obsessed freak wants?

nevertheless, i can't say others really. cause i'm just as obsessed with privacy. hah. so, on friendster, what i put there, i'm willing and ready to allow others to see and tell others about. if i'm not, i would never have placed it there in the first place. won't you do the same if you're me?

Chingay 1st Briefing

today is the first time we're meeting our participants.

its quite interesting, really. everything seems so different from the last time. i'm a little lost, to be honest. i don't know how i'm supposed to behave around the rest of them. sometimes, i seem to be so odd among them.

is it me? i don't know.

hmm... anyway, i'm the trainer for the Seaweed group. haha. the steps are very gentle, and i feel so awkward dancing it and trying to be happy and energetic about it. lol.

i keep trying to induce some bigger moves into it. but it just ends up weird. hah.

ok. i'm so out of point here. the briefing went well. (i think) almost everyone came? and i missed some of the briefing. cause we were also conducting some last min audition. so i was below while the briefing was held on the second floor.

erm, my brain isn't working now. too tired. lol. so i'm not making sense. hahah..

anyway, on friday, 26 oct, we went to MOS to celebrate the FIRST part of her birthday.

she got tipsy as usual. even worst. she got more tipsy then usual. but no puking. (thank goodness!)

it was ok i guess. tired. but ok. Cat brought along her bf, so we got a ride back. phew. i won't have looked forward to taking taxi or night rider. (broke and too long)

went for mac breakfast (as usual?). nice and full. haha.

then stupid me, i actually agreed to work for EM the next day. but i told vivien i couldn't make it at 2. lol. ended up going at 6 instead. heng. otherwise my feet will be so swollen i wouldn't have recognised it as a human feet. -.-

then on monday, buffet dinner with ah wei. (actual bdae day)

its FULL de lor!! and we didn't even eat as much as we used to. (getting old?)

and we called judy down for drinking session. which didn't even last 10 min?

too tired and full. and my father was waiting for me.

oopps. smell like alcohol. almost got scolded. but i SWEAR i only drank 2+ mouthful. it was because i burp (*excuse me*).

anyway, enjoyable time. though EXPENSIVE!!!

now i'm in a extremely pitiful state of finance. sighhhhhhhh----

it was supposed to be a 8 person farewell party. but we all got ps-ed by cyn. so that leaves 7 of us. (ky included)

first, we ate lots and lots of mee + curry + veggie + more veggie + desert + green tea + pig leg soup. then we took photos with ky's new cam. which was like, argh., VERY blur. and ky has no idea why. lol! we all took a chance at making it clearer. so much so that by the end of it, cheryl had to re-set the whole settings of the cam. hah.

next we couldn't take the warm singapore weather anymore. so up to ky's room we go to enjoy some lovely, lovely AIR-CON! muahaha... but ky's air-con is sooo weak. -.- we keep thinking its a useless piece of junk. hahaha... but thinking back now, i think it was because we were drinking wine too. alcohol makes us warm. combined with the stupid singapore weather, the old air-con is totally useless.

anyway, we sort of just kept drinking and playing games and just laughing our heads off the whole time we were there. ky got drunk in the end and he keeps saying he loves us. hahaha. how sweet. and he keeps saying he's not drunk and that he's ok and awake. hahahaha

we video it down. LOL. he should have a great laugh over it. =) but i must say that i'll definitely miss him while he's gone. though we're not like super super close, but we have known each other SEVEN FREAKING YEARS!!!!! so, ky, I will miss you! lol. =D you must miss us too!! and send us letters and all that! see ya in 6 months time. and Take Care~!!!

范范 has just released her latest and one of her BEST, i repeat BEST albums!!! this album is titled, 哲学家. from what I've heard and seen on her introduction about her album, the theme of it came when she had a serious and rather nasty fall during her performance. OUCH. but its definitely a plus that the incident produced this wonderful, wonderful album!!

my first time

something huge has just happened!

i've just had my first time.

my first time going clubbing. haha. =P

went clubbing at MOS on wednesday with ah wei, cat and evon. i must say, the experience can only be described as WOW! i LOVE IT! the dancing, the drinking and even getting drunk. oopppsss. that does sound so bad. but i did get a little tipsy on wed. cause we each drank a jug of either vodka orange or vodka cranberry. vodka orange doesn't taste nice. ew. but vodka cranberry is niceee! serious. i recommend that.

anyway, got tipsy and went dancing with ah wei. never knew she's that wild! *whistle* never knew i could be that wild too. LOL! though i'm nothing compared to ah wei of course. *bow before the wild queen* one thing is definite, i will be going clubbing again!

and i did. HAH. friday, i went DXO with ah wei, han jun and kai yuan. met my darling bullet (Mabia) there!!! =DDD we went crazy on fri, but not drunk though. i think we were too awake. so we just got ourselves high by going crazy. hahaha! it all started with Cheryl's friend, Amanda pushing jun to this guy with a eye brow piercing. than we all tried to push jun to him together. and we pushed ah wei to this other guy. then i got pushed to a cute guy too. haha. sadly by then i was too tired to go too crazy. so the whole thing was just kinda embarrassing. -.-

but i must say ah wei is one lucky lucky girl. haha. ok. shan't say more. here's the picture~

just came back from today's Friday Rendezvous. tonight's theme is 新谣.

its been AGES since i went to Friday Rendezvous. not bad. not bad. the performers are getting better and better and BETTER! and we get to order food and drinks too!!! yummy!!!!!!~

erm, so what can i say? hmmm.... ok. Alvin Khoo was the guitar player for two singers tonight. and while we were listening to the beautiful music, yvonne noticed something.

when Alvin plays the guitar, he moves his shoulder up and down according to the song. hahaha. and the movement was distracting yvonne. and she keeps telling me about it that it started distracting me too! hahahaha. but i do have to admit Alvin is a GREAT guitar player! really. cross my heart and swear. =D

ok. next, me, eileen, kai liang, yvonne and hong bin took 176 back to jurong east to change buses/mrt/go home. me eileen and kai liang went je to change to mrt. while walking to the mrt station, we started talking rubbish. and i mention something or another and eileen said 喜欢就说出来. muahahahaha! ok. now you guys should have an idea of what we were talking about? heh. i shan't say too much. since i promised i won't ruin kai liang's good name and all that. oopppsss! i accidentally mention about who we were talking about. heh.

okok. enough of my crap and rubbish. i'll write till here~

i've adopted him as my son in ndp. he's Marcus btw. (for those who don't know him)

and whyyy is he having such a weird expression on his face? cause he's eating burger king's burger. which he hates. (it is sooo NOT because he's forced to take pictures with me!)

as for the NE show, its a SUCCESS!! (as always) haha.

everything went well. and everyone had a great time. especially when this is for the primary sch kids. they are soooo adorable!!!!! but perhaps they could have screamed louder? lol. just to show their support for us, of course.

milk run (an experience to be remembered)

Milk Run has come and gone. and the one thing i remember the most about it is the smell! which is SO gross. ew! yuck yuck yuck!

while we're squeezed together, i'm too short to breath in the FRESH air. so i keep smelling other ppl's sweat. ewwwwwww!

anyway, the run was uneventful(certain embarrassing events non withstanding!). i did indeed walked the whole 4km. i tried to walk faster and even jogged a little. but because of 2 particular guys!, i couldn't walk too fast. cause i had to wait for them. -.-

we took 30 over over minutes to finish the run. hah. record breaking slowest ever run! after the run, we had to line up to collect our bags. more smelly sweaty ppl squeezed together. EWWWWW! they couldn't find my bag and i had to stand there for like dunno how many nose torturing minutes! finally, they found my bag. and i was out of the nose hell. YEAH!

next, went back to find elleen, stella, may they all. asked where they'll be heading after the run, told me they're going home. so home for me too. saded. hah. ben wanted to take cab. i refused.(i'm so proud of myself for refusing! =D) hahaha. so ended up he took the mrt and bus back with me.

he gave his virgin ride of bus 185 to me! hahahaha! so niceee of him.(i'm honored!) LOL! anyway, had a great talk with him too. its been ages since i last saw him. =)

oh ya, fiona ps me! SAD-ED!!!! haha. but she has valid reasons. she had sore eyes. ouch! but just met up with her at jp. she pei wo go buy things plus eat dinner. haha. was supposed to go home for dinner, but was just too hungry to wait. =X sorry mummy.

sat: its our NDP CR2. we had audience!!! omg! haha.... i think it's because of that, we're quite nervous. and our timing for the dance got messed up. but our cradle dance was great!!

we practised our cradle dance too much and forgot all about our other dance steps and counting. lol. but overall, it's wonderful~ =D

but now i'm sooo tired, i'm falling asleep in front of my com. hah.

how CUTEEE can a blog skin be anyway?

seems like it can be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY REALLY, REALLYYY CUTEE!!!(like mine. muahahaha!)

i'm not too sure what time i started playing around with the blog skin. but i only finished editing it to suit my needs, just now. O.O

i'm supposed to be tired. but i'm not. gosh. i can hear Mayy Mayy scolding me le. hahaha.. telling me to go slp, now. heh. sorry, maymay. i'm going to slp rite after i finish this post. (promise. heh.)

what i love about this blog skin is, the pictures are bright, cute and adorable! plus, i managed to adjust the words so that it's big enough to see. (yes, yes, i know it's like super big. but i need it bigg! haha)

oh ya, and the side bar! when i thought i was done, i saw that i didn't have the past posts and all that, so (being such a clever girl) i copied the codes for the columns. then i added in past posts, recent posts and the visits. today is tue: had discussion planning, did ONE of the survey with hong bin(so nice of him), and slack at home. heh

tml is wed: watch movie with winnie, do another survey with alvin(so not nice of him), ndp training, do more surveys with np ppl(if possible).

here's some updates on my life.

i'm left with only ONE week of holiday. all filled with projects, NDP training, meetings, more projects, more NDP trainings and more meetings.

i do feel kind of no life sometimes. but then again, this is my life. =)

i wish for happiness to fill my heart and my life till it over flows and spread to everyone around me.

was just reading this book review on No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong. (great author, great book.) and i saw this review that ends with the person saying that he/she doesn't want to give too much away. (of the book's content.)

-.- i just don't see the need to hold back on what will be happening in the book or in movies or tv shows and all that. really, i don't. why? cause i need to know what will happen for me to decide on whether i would want to spend time on reading/watching it.

i require knowledge on the content for me want to read/watch it. hahaha.. soo.. i can't stand those ppl that insist on not telling anything about the content. argh!

i see no fun in withholding information. -.-

plss don't. hahaha. u'll drive me crazy with all the questions running ard in my head!

Milk Run
